Creamy Avocado Kale Delight Smoothie
Ingredients
- 1 ripe avocado, peeled and pitted
- 1 cup kale leaves, stems removed
- 1 banana, peeled
- 1 cup almond milk (or any milk of your choice)
- 1 tablespoon honey (or maple syrup for a vegan option)
- 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1/2 cup Greek yogurt (or coconut yogurt for a vegan option)
- 1/2 cup ice cubes
Instructions
- Prepare the ingredients:
- Wash the kale leaves thoroughly and remove the stems
- Peel and pit the ripe avocado.
- Peel the banana
- Blend the Ingredients:
- In a blender, combine the avocado, kale leaves, banana, almond milk honey, vanilla extract, Greek yogurt, and ice cubes.
- Blend on high speed until the mixture is smooth and creamy. If the consistency is too thick, you can add a little more almond milk to achieve your desired texture.
- Taste and Adjust:
- Taste the smoothie and adjust the sweetness by adding more honey or maple syrup if needed.
- Served:
- Pour the creamy avocado kale smoothie into glasses.
- You can optionally garnish with a few kale leaves or a sprinkle of chia seeds on top.
