Pomegranate Berry Blast Smoothie

Ingredients
  

  • 1 cup pomegranate arils
  • 1 cup mixed berries (strawberries, blueberries, raspberries
  • 1 banana, peeled and sliced
  • 1/2 cup Greek yogurt
  • 1 cup almond milk (or any milk of your choice)
  • 1  tablespoon honey (optional, for added sweetness)
  • 1  teaspoon chia seeds (optional, for extra nutrition)

Instructions
 

  • Start by preparing the fruits.
  • Cut the pomegranate in half and extract 1 cup of arils (seeds).
  • Wash and clean the mixed berries as well.
  • In a blender, combine the pomegranate arils, mixed berries, sliced banana, Greek yogurt, almond milk, honey (if using), and chia seeds (if using).
  • Blend on high until all the ingredients are well combined and the smoothie is smooth and creamy.
  • Taste the smoothie and adjust sweetness by adding more honey if desired.
  • If the smoothie is too thick, you can add a little more almond milk and blend again until you reach your desired consistency.
  • Once the smoothie is ready, pour it into glasses and serve immediately.
