Ingredients
  

  • 2 medium apples, cored and chopped
  • 2 medium carrots, peeled and chopped
  • 1 inch piece of fresh ginger, peeled and grated
  • 1 cup cold water or coconut water
  • 1 cup ice cubes
  • 1 tablespoon honey or maple syrup (optional, for sweetness)
  • Fresh mint leaves for garnish (optional)

Instructions
 

  • In a blender, combine the chopped apples, carrots, grated ginger, and cold water (or coconut water).
  • Blend on high speed until the mixture is smooth and well combined.
  • Add the ice cubes and blend again until the smoothie reaches your desired consistency.
  • Taste the smoothie and add honey or maple syrup if you prefer a sweeter taste.
  • Blend again to mix.
  • Once the smoothie is ready, pour it into glasses.
  • Garnish with fresh mint leaves, if desired
