medium carrots, peeled and chopped

inch piece of fresh ginger, peeled and grated

cold water or coconut water

cup
ice cubes

tablespoon honey or maple syrup (optional, for sweetness)
Fresh mint leaves for garnish (optional)
Instructions
In a blender, combine the chopped apples, carrots, grated ginger, and cold water (or coconut water).
Blend on high speed until the mixture is smooth and well combined.
Add the ice cubes and blend again until the smoothie reaches your desired consistency.
Taste the smoothie and add honey or maple syrup if you prefer a sweeter taste.
Blend again to mix.
Once the smoothie is ready, pour it into glasses.
Garnish with fresh mint leaves, if desired
