Blueberry Flaxseed Booster Smoothie
Ingredients
- 1 cup frozen blueberries
- 1 ripe banana
- 1 cup spinach leaves (washed)
- 1 tablespoon flaxseeds
- 1/2 cup cup Greek yogurt
- 1 cup almond milk (or any milk of your choice)
- 1 teaspoon honey (optional, for sweetness)
- Ice cubes (optional)
Instructions
- Peel the ripe banana and break it into smaller chunks.
- In a blender, combine the frozen blueberries, banana chunks, spinach leaves, flaxseeds.
- Greek yogurt, almond milk, and honey (if using).
- Blend on high speed until the mixture is smooth and creamy.
- f the smoothie is too thick, you can add a bit more almond milk to reach your desired consistency.
- If desired, add a few ice cubes and blend again to make the smoothie colder and thicker.
- Once the smoothie reaches the desired consistency, taste and adjust sweetness if needed by adding more honey.
- Pour the smoothie into glasses and serve immediately.
