Blueberry Flaxseed Booster Smoothie

Ingredients
  

  • 1 cup  frozen blueberries
  • 1  ripe banana
  • 1 cup spinach leaves (washed)
  • 1 tablespoon flaxseeds
  • 1/2 cup cup Greek yogurt
  • 1 cup almond milk (or any milk of your choice)
  • 1  teaspoon honey (optional, for sweetness)
  • Ice cubes (optional)

Instructions
 

  • Peel the ripe banana and break it into smaller chunks.
  • In a blender, combine the frozen blueberries, banana chunks, spinach leaves, flaxseeds.
  • Greek yogurt, almond milk, and honey (if using).
  • Blend on high speed until the mixture is smooth and creamy.
  • f the smoothie is too thick, you can add a bit more almond milk to reach your desired consistency.
  • If desired, add a few ice cubes and blend again to make the smoothie colder and thicker.
  • Once the smoothie reaches the desired consistency, taste and adjust sweetness if needed by adding more honey.
  • Pour the smoothie into glasses and serve immediately.
