Coconut Cherry Dream Smoothie
Ingredients
- 1 cup frozen cherries
- 1 ripe banana
- 1 cup coconut milk
- 1/2 cup Greek yogurt
- 2 tablespoons shredded coconut
- 1 tablespoon honey (optional, for added sweetness)
- 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
- Ice cubes (as needed)
Instructions
- Prepare the Ingredients:
- Peel and roughly chop the ripe banana
- Measure out the frozen cherries, coconut milk, Greek yogurt, shredded coconut, honey (if using), and vanilla extract.
- Blend the Smoothie:
- in a blender, combine the frozen cherries, chopped banana, coconut milk, Greek yogurt, shredded coconut, honey (if using), and vanilla extract.
- If desired, add a few ice cubes to thicken the smoothie and make it colder.
- Blend on high speed until the mixture is smooth and creamy. You may need to stop and scrape down the sides of the blender as needed.
- Taste and Adjust:
- Taste the smoothie and adjust the sweetness by adding more honey if desired.
- Serve:
- Pour the Coconut Cherry Dream Smoothie into glasses.
- Optionally, you can garnish with additional shredded coconut and a cherry on top.
