Mango Turmeric Elixir Smoothie
Ingredients
- 2 cup ripe mango, peeled and diced
- 1 medium banana, peeled
- 1 cup unsweetened almond milk (or any preferred milk)
- 1/2 teaspoon ground turmeric
- 1/4 teaspoon ground ginger
- 1 tablespoon chia seeds
- 1 tablespoon honey or maple syrup (adjust to taste)
- 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract (optional)
- Ice cubes (as needed)
Instructions
- In a blender, combine the diced mango, banana, almond milk, ground turmeric, ground ginger, chia seeds, honey or maple syrup, and vanilla extract (if using).
- Blend on high speed until the mixture is smooth and creamy.
- If the smoothie is too thick, you can add a little more almond milk to achieve your desired consistency.
- Taste the smoothie and adjust the sweetness and flavors by adding more honey or spices if needed.
- Blend again to combine.
- If you prefer a colder smoothie, add ice cubes and blend until they are fully incorporated.
- Once the smoothie is well blended and creamy, pour it into glasses.
- Garnish with a sprinkle of ground turmeric or chia seeds on top, if desired.
