1cupunsweetened almond milk (or any preferred milk)
1/2teaspoon ground turmeric
1/4teaspoon ground ginger
1tablespoon chia seeds
1tablespoon honey or maple syrup (adjust to taste)
1/2teaspoon vanilla extract (optional)
Ice cubes (as needed)
Instructions
In a blender, combine the diced mango, banana, almond milk, ground turmeric, ground ginger, chia seeds, honey or maple syrup, and vanilla extract (if using).
Blend on high speed until the mixture is smooth and creamy.
If the smoothie is too thick, you can add a little more almond milk to achieve your desired consistency.
Taste the smoothie and adjust the sweetness and flavors by adding more honey or spices if needed.
Blend again to combine.
If you prefer a colder smoothie, add ice cubes and blend until they are fully incorporated.
Once the smoothie is well blended and creamy, pour it into glasses.
Garnish with a sprinkle of ground turmeric or chia seeds on top, if desired.
