
Spinach and Pineapple Green Delight Smoothie
Ingredients
- 2 cups fresh spinach leaves
- 1 cup pineapple chunks (fresh or frozen)
- 1 banana, peeled
- 1/2 cup Greek yogurt
- 1/2 cup coconut water (or regular water)
- 1 tablespoon chia seeds (optional)
- Honey or maple syrup to taste (optional, for sweetness)
- Ice cubes (optional)
Instructions
- Wash the spinach leaves thoroughly and drain.
- In a blender, combine the spinach, pineapple chunks, banana, Greek yogurt, coconut water, and chia seeds (if using).
- Blend on high until smooth and creamy.
- If the mixture is too thick, you can add more coconut water or regular water to reach your desired consistency.
- Taste the smoothie and add honey or maple syrup if you prefer a sweeter taste. Blend again to incorporate.
- If desired, add a handful of ice cubes and blend until the smoothie is chilled and frothy.
- Pour the smoothie into glasses and serve immediately.
