Preparation:
In a small bowl, mix together the soy sauce, oyster sauce, hoisin sauce, and sesame oil. Set aside.
Prepare all the vegetables by washing, peeling, and chopping/slicing as needed.
Mince the garlic and ginger.
Cooking:
Heat a large skillet or wok over medium-high heat and add the vegetable oil.
Add the minced garlic and ginger to the pan and sauté for about 30 seconds until fragrant.
Add the ground turkey to the pan and break it up using a spatula. Cook until the turkey is browned and cooked through.
Stir-Fry:
Push the cooked turkey to one side of the pan. On the other side, add the mixed vegetables. Stir-fry the vegetables for about 3-4 minutes until they are slightly tender but still crisp.
Mix the turkey and vegetables together in the pan.
Sauce:
Pour the prepared sauce over the turkey and vegetables. Stir to coat everything evenly. Cook for an additional 1-2 minutes, allowing the flavors to meld.
Seasoning:
Taste the stir-fry and adjust the seasoning with salt and pepper as needed. Remember that the soy sauce already adds some saltiness.
Serving:
Once the stir-fry is well-cooked and the flavors are blended, remove from heat.
Serve the turkey and vegetable stir-fry over steamed rice or noodles.
Garnish with sesame seeds and sliced green onions if desired.
